We all know there is a law that bans Exotic Parrots from coming into the USA.
Recently Mexico banned the illegal Trade of exotic parrots in an effort to save what Parrots there are left in the wild.
I posted this information on a Bird Forum, all the members said "Yea"...and voiced there opinions.
Then I said, "these poached birds were heading for the USA to keep Americas thirst full filled"...
It got very quiet on that forum...no more replies....
Hmmmmm, Now I wonder why that was?????
If everyone honestly thinks the law outlawing exotic parrots coming into the USA is working, then maybe you also believe there is not millions of illegal Mexicans in our country stealing jobs away as our American children starve....
Poaching continues in the wild to supply the pet trade, almost every exotic parrot in the wild is now endangered.
45 years ago, one could not find a Parrot at a shelter, you will find them there today.
45 years ago....one couldn't find Sanctuaries and or the Parrot Rescuer, there are hundreds of such facilities today with thousands of no longer wanted parrots for residents.
45 years ago, Parrots thrived in the wild.
Now, Americans not happy with the slaughter of over 6 million companion animals per year have now added the Parrot to there abuse list....
Good Job Americans, how many more lives are to suffer under your careless ways?
