HR669 failed mainly from so called Parrot Lovers protecting there False Rights and there freedom to continue to abuse animals, in this case Non Native species.
Here in America we Americans value being able to travel and enjoy basic freedom but think nothing of it when caging a Parrot, a bird that was given wings to fly the skies.


A Parrots Prayer

Human seem to cherish being able to travel and be free.
But think nothing of it, when stealing this from me.
I pray one day something stronger takes from you.
Everything you have stolen from me, everything you once knew.
You will be caged, and as your rage becomes real.
Then I will ask you, "how does it feel?'
Yes everything that you have taken from me.
I pray I live for the day I will see.
The day you begin to pull all your hair out.
The day you begin to scream and shout.
I was given wings to fly from tree to tree and be free.
Now I sit caged and listen to your lies to me.
Yes I pray for the day you are taken from family and friends.
You are placed in a cage until your life ends.
Maybe then you will understand and see.
I am a Parrot, I was created to be free.

Yes, the parrot lover can see what is happening to many parrots, they see those at shelters pulling all there feathers out.
They see that almost all Parrots in the wild are now endangered.

Yes, the Parrot Lover will whisper sweet little lies to there parrots claiming to love them so, then turn around and fight any new law that may help the parrot.

Yes, here in America, we Americans value and cherish Freedom, freedom to get our hands on more Parrots in the future, Freedom to cage Parrots and take there freedom away.

A Parrot Lover once said to me.
How can you clip a birds wings and take there ability to fly away from them?, That's cruel!
I replied.
How can you take a bird that was meant to fly the skies and cage them?
She Replied.
We don't cage our birds here they free fly!
I Replied.
What about the four walls you call home?

Now I wonder why it became quiet after I said that!
